By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

Use of Our Services

  • You agree to provide accurate information while using our Services.
  • You may not use the Site for unlawful purposes, to distribute harmful content, or to infringe on the rights of others.

Services Provided

Sound CV provides tools including but not limited to resume and CV builders, templates, career resources and more. These Services are designed to help users create professional job application documents. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

Account and Registration

  • Certain features may require you to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”) is the Merchant of Record for all purchases made through Sound CV. This means that when you buy a subscription or any paid feature, Paddle — not Sound CV — is the seller of record for that transaction. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, the collection and remittance of applicable taxes (such as VAT and sales tax), invoicing, fraud prevention, and order-related customer support. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions.

Payments and Subscriptions

  • Some Services may be offered for free, while premium features require a one-time or recurring payment.
  • All payments are processed securely by Paddle. When you purchase a subscription, you authorize Paddle to charge the payment method you provide.
  • All fees are stated in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise displayed at checkout. Paddle may convert and display prices in your local currency, and applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout.
  • Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current price for each renewal.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via the link in your Paddle order confirmation email. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to premium features continues until the end of your current paid period.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed and will be communicated with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content, templates, software, logos, and materials on Sound CV are the exclusive property of the Company and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, resell, or distribute our content without written permission.
  • Resumes or CVs you create remain your property; however, by using our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process and store them for providing our Services.

User Responsibilities

  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots or scrapers) to access our Site.
  • Upload unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Misuse the platform in a way that could damage or disable Services.

Termination of Services

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse our Services. Upon termination, your access to premium features may end immediately without refund.

Limitation of Liability

  • Sound CV is not responsible for any job application outcomes, hiring decisions, or losses arising from the use of our Services.
  • We do not guarantee employment as a result of using our tools.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 6 months prior to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United States.
