At Sound CV (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we want you to be happy with our Services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for purchases made on https://www.soundcv.com/. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

Merchant of Record

All purchases on Sound CV are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle handles billing, payments, taxes, and the processing of all approved refunds on our behalf. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout through Paddle.

Digital Products — General Policy

Sound CV provides digital products and services (such as resume tools, templates, AI features, and subscriptions) that are delivered and accessible immediately after purchase. Because access is granted instantly, our purchases are generally non-refundable.

When You Can Request a Refund

We understand that issues can happen. We will review and, where appropriate, approve refund requests made within 14 days of purchase in cases such as:

  • Technical problems: A feature or service you paid for does not work as described and our team is unable to resolve it.
  • Non-delivery: You were charged but did not receive access to the product or feature you purchased.
  • Accidental or duplicate charges: You were billed more than once, or for a purchase you did not intend to make.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Requests made simply because you changed your mind, no longer need the product, or did not use it may not qualify.

Subscriptions and Renewals

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via the link in your Paddle order confirmation email. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access to premium features until the end of your current paid period.
  • To avoid being charged for a renewal, please cancel before your renewal date. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, contact us within 14 days of that charge and we will review your request.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please use one of the following options:

  • Email us at support@soundcv.com with the email address used at purchase, your Paddle order or receipt number, and a short description of the issue.
  • Reply directly to your Paddle order confirmation email, or use the “Manage your subscription” link it contains.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, Paddle processes it to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card provider.

Non-Refundable Situations

The following are generally not eligible for a refund:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the original purchase (except where required by law).
  • “Change of mind” or non-use of a working product or feature.
  • Subscription renewals where cancellation was not requested before the renewal date, beyond the review described above.
  • Purchases where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms and Conditions.

Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect any refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country. Where local law grants you stronger rights, those rights take precedence.
