Choose your assistant

    Open Settings

    In Claude, click your name in the bottom-left corner and choose Settings.

    In the settings sidebar, under Customize, click Connectors.

    Click Add in the top right of the connectors page. On a Team or Enterprise workspace an owner may need to add it for everyone first.

    Paste the SoundCV address

    Name it SoundCV, paste the address below into MCP server URL, then click Continue. There is nothing else to fill in — SoundCV registers your assistant automatically.

    Confirm the detected settings

    Claude reads the right options straight off the server and marks them Detected — Sign in now and Register automatically are already chosen. Leave them as they are and click Add.

    The connector is added but not yet authorised. Open it and click Connect to start sign-in.

    A SoundCV sign-in page opens in your browser. Check what is being requested, then approve. Your assistant never receives your password.

    Choose what runs without asking

    SoundCV is connected. Set Interactive tools and Read-only tools to Always allow so everyday requests do not prompt every time. Saving a change is not covered by this — an edit still shows you a preview to approve first.

    SoundCV now appears in the chat. Enable it for the conversation and try the prompt below.

You stay in control

The connection is narrow, visible and reversible. Here is exactly what that means.

Your password stays yours

You sign in on SoundCV. The assistant only ever receives a limited token, never your credentials.

Review before save

Resume edits are shown to you as a diff first. Nothing is written until you approve it.

Only what you approve

You see the exact list of permissions before connecting. Billing and account settings are never included.

Failures leave nothing behind

If a request goes wrong, or your plan does not cover it, nothing is written and the assistant tells you plainly instead of half-finishing.

Disconnect anytime

Remove the connector in your assistant and access ends immediately. No need to change your password.

Before you connect

Does connecting start a subscription?
No. Connecting is free and never opens checkout. If you ask for something your plan does not include, nothing runs and you get a link to the pricing page instead.
Can the assistant see my password?
No. You sign in on soundcv.com and approve a limited token. Your password is never sent to the assistant, and the token can be revoked at any time.
Can it change my resume without asking?
No. Content edits go through a preview step that shows exactly what would change. Saving requires a token issued by that preview, so an assistant cannot skip it.
What can it actually do?
List and open your resumes, browse and switch templates, score a resume on its own or against a job description, create resumes and duplicates, and save changes you have approved.
Which assistants work?
Anything that supports remote MCP over streamable HTTP — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and others. The same connection works everywhere.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the connector in your assistant’s settings. Its access ends immediately, and nothing on your SoundCV account changes.
