Job Title: Remote Network Administrator Location: Remote (U.S. Only) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $120,000 $150,000 per year (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our companys IT network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure network security, performance, and reliability , while troubleshooting issues and optimizing systems. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be based in the U.S. Key :
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software .
Monitor network performance and security , ensuring uptime and efficiency.
Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and VPN issues .
Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols .
Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and backups .
Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices .
Collaborate with IT teams to support server and cloud infrastructure .
Document network configurations and create reports on network performance .
Required Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking .
Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment .
Experience with Windows, Linux, and network monitoring tools .
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices .
Ability to troubleshoot network outages and performance issues .
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP .
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) .
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) .
Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) .
