About the role Financial Accountant role supporting accounts management, financial reporting, and compliance across a full-service outsourcing company. Key
Own the accounts inbox, including the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and payments
Run the daily and weekly sales reporting and commentary
Own the month-end and year-end close process including balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare timely, accurate monthly financial reports and analysis, and help pull together performance reporting for leadership
Prepare compliance reporting including BAS, PAYG, Payroll, Superannuation Payroll Tax and WorkCover
Prepare data analysis to support commercial decisions
Qualifications:
Ideally CA qualified, with solid post-qualification experience in a hands-on accounting role
Confident across the full month-end cycle and Australian compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Payroll, Superannuation, WorkCover)
Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills, with an eye for detail and a love of clean books
Comfortable in a fast-paced growing business with an ability to draw commercial conclusions from broad data sources
A clear communicator who can translate finance for people who don't live in spreadsheets
Ideally experience with cloud-based Retail/Ecommerce systems such as Shopify, CIN7 Core, Xero and DEXT
Experience in retail, e-commerce or an omni-channel business is a bonus
