About this role

About the Client We are a healthcare technology and services company focused on advancing clinical research in specialty medicine. We work with physician practices and research sites to help identify the right patients for clinical trials, so new therapies reach patients faster. Our team combines clinical expertise with technology to improve access to care and the quality of clinical research. Why does this role exist?
We have a backlog of patient charts waiting to be prescreened for clinical trial eligibility, and we need an experienced healthcare professional to help clear it. In this role, you will review patient records against study-specific criteria, document your findings, and flag unclear or conflicting information for our team. Your accuracy keeps our trials moving, and your judgment about when to ask questions helps us refine how we do prescreening.
The Impact you’ll make

Chart Review Eligibility Screening

Review assigned patient charts in our EHR system against study-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria
Examine clinical notes, medical histories, prior procedures, and other supporting records
Follow established checklists and standard operating procedures consistently

Cross-Checking Accuracy

Cross-check information across the chart, including historical entries, to identify inconsistencies or details that may affect eligibility
Maintain accuracy and completeness while meeting agreed daily review targets

Documentation Tracking

Document prescreening outcomes, reasons for exclusion, and other required information in our tracking spreadsheet
Keep records clear, consistent, and complete so the team can act on them

Flagging Escalation

Flag missing information, conflicting records, and cases that need clarification from our team
Identify scenarios that need additional guidance and help us refine our procedures by flagging edge cases

Confidentiality Compliance

Handle patient information confidentially
Follow our approved data-access and security procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required

Direct, hands-on experience using EHR or EMR systems to access and review patient records
