About this role
Description We are looking for a Business Operating Model & AI Lead who will own Muse OS, the operating system of Muse Group , as a product. Muse OS turns the signals the company already produces into clear decisions and actions: it interprets them against our written standards and OKR frame, puts the result in front of the person who decides, and lets AI agents take over repetitive work while people keep judgment and context. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations and technology. You will be the product owner of the company’s internal operating model, and the nervous system that connects strategy, goals, rituals and execution across teams, including Hal Leonard. You will design and improve the processes, rituals and systems that drive execution and business impact, and build the AI layer on top of them to deliver speed, visibility and early signals the company did not have before. You will report to the COO and work closely with the Executive Team to make sure strategy turns into structured execution, with clear ownership, real-time data and AI-powered insights. Key
Own Muse OS as a product: its roadmap, its adoption across teams and the business impact it delivers through speed, visibility and early signals.
Build the AI layer of Muse OS with Data and Tech: signals, anomaly flags and decision briefs delivered to the right owner.
Define and run daily, weekly and monthly planning rituals and shared dashboards that make execution predictable and transparent.
Run goal-setting as the company’s strategic operating system: annual and quarterly planning, Executive Team sessions, and OKRs tied to measurable business outcomes.
Introduce clear ownership in cross-functional OKRs: a Business Owner accountable for the outcome and an Execution Lead responsible for delivery.
Manage cross-functional projects that bring business value, including the operational integration of Hal Leonard, on data and metrics and transparently for stakeholders.
Help new leaders absorb Muse rituals, processes and operating norms, together with the People team and the Executive Team.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Product Management, Organizational Development, AI/Transformation, or related fields
Fluent English: you will work daily with a US-based COO and the Executive Team.
You have built AI into how a team or company works (agents, automation, knowledge systems), not only for personal use, and can show a before and after.
Strong product mindset with proven ownership of complex systems or initiatives end-to-end
Hands-on experience designing and scaling operational processes and OKR frameworks
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations
Proven track record of driving organizational change and improving execution quality
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, especially at the executive level
High standards for communication, documentation, and systems thinking
Ability to translate complex concepts (including AI) into clear, actionable insights
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Nice to have
Integration or transformation experience, such as M&A integration or ERP implementation.
Multicultural, distributed teams and US stakeholders.
Familiarity with data protection and ethical AI practices.
