Intro

Our warehouse in Paunsdorf (Leipzig), currently specializing in the shipping of cardboard boxes and shipping materials, is a growing project within Händlerbund. And this is exactly where you as a Warehouse Employee (m/f/d) come into play. You won't just be "going along with the flow." You will be taking on a key role.

In your role, you will ensure that our in-house warehouse runs scalably, efficiently, and error-free, thereby contributing significantly to the growth of this division. Your work determines how reliably we deliver, how satisfied our customers are, and how strongly we can continue to grow.

Your tasks

Core areas:

  • Goods receipt & goods issue
  • Order picking & returns processing
  • Managing a growing order volume including achieving defined KPIs
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining and preserving an impeccable warehouse location
  • Handling our technical warehouse systems
  • Ensuring permanent availability of goods through proactive material management (packaging material, pallets, etc.)

Furthermore:

  • Active idea generation for process optimization
  • Constructive problem-solving for challenges that arise
  • Guiding and coordinating temporary staff during peak order periods

In short: You are operationally strong while thinking strategically. You take action and drive development. You ensure that quality does not suffer even as volume grows.

Your profile

You are a good fit for us if you already have initial warehouse experience (2-3 years) and prefer a growing warehouse where you can truly help shape things and take on responsibility rather than just a "state-of-the-art warehouse."

  • Professional experience in warehouse logistics: You bring experience in goods receipt (GR), goods issue (GI), and order picking (KOM). Terms like FIFO, inventory management, and pallet accounts are not theory to you, but part of your everyday life.
  • Confident handling of merchandise management systems: You work routinely with merchandise management and warehouse systems and always keep an overview of inventory and processes.
  • Resilience & physical capability: You are able to carry out tasks in the warehouse independently, even when they are physically demanding.
  • Problem-solving skills: You analyze complex situations quickly and find pragmatic, actionable solutions.
  • Adaptability: Our warehouse is growing, and structures are evolving. You remain flexible, prioritize logically, and work with focus even under pressure.
  • Communication skills: You communicate clearly, proactively, and confidently with internal teams, external partners, and your warehouse team.
  • Deliver +1 mentality: You have the ambition to not just do things correctly, but to do them better. You recognize potential for optimization and act independently.

If your values align with our company values, this will lead to a long-term & trusting partnership.

Why us?

Work that fits your life

  • 4 days of work & 3 days for you: For us, the 4-day week is not an extra, but the standard. More time for life, every week. We rely on trust, give you responsibility, and offer you a permanent contract from the start.
  • Shape instead of just execute: Do you want to contribute your ideas and really make a difference? That is exactly what defines Händlerbund. Initiative counts here, and of course, the team spirit: whether at joint events, summer parties, or relaxed lunch breaks at the grill, there is no shortage of fun.
  • Snacks & style: Whether coffee, water, muesli, or fruit - we have you covered. Dress code? None. Just be yourself.
  • Benefits that count: Childcare subsidy, support for retirement provision, Leipziger Jobticket, or sports offers for your balance – from home gyms to fitness studios for mind and body.
