Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Manager - Landscape to join our team! In this role, you will provide technical leadership and governance for landscape architecture projects, overseeing coordination, technical excellence, resource management, quality assurance, and delivery performance across complex and large-scale developments.
What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the technical direction and delivery of landscape architecture projects across all design stages, from concept through IFC documentation.

Act as the discipline lead responsible for technical quality, compliance, design consistency, and project delivery standards.

Manage and supervise Senior Landscape Architects, Landscape Architects, BIM Coordinators, and technical production teams.

Establish project execution strategies, technical protocols, and discipline-specific delivery plans.

Conduct detailed technical reviews of drawings, specifications, BOQs, reports, BIM models, and design packages before submission.

Lead coordination with Architecture, Urban Design, Master Planning, MEP, Structural, Infrastructure, and Digital Engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards, sustainability requirements, and client design guidelines.

Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure all deliverables meet Parsons' technical standards.

Identify technical risks, design gaps, issues, and coordination conflicts, implementing mitigation measures.

Support project directors and project managers in resource planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery forecasting.

Lead technical workshops, design reviews, value engineering exercises, and client presentations.

Drive BIM implementation, digital delivery processes, automation tools, and continuous improvement initiatives within the landscape discipline.

Support business development activities, proposal reviews, fee estimates, and technical input for new opportunities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
-
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including large-scale projects.

Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical leadership, discipline lead, or management role.

Strong experience delivering major mixed-use, hospitality, residential, public realm, infrastructure, and master planned developments.

Advanced knowledge of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, grading, site development, and landscape construction methodologies.

Extensive experience in design management, technical reviews, and construction documentation production.

Proven experience managing coordination and resolving complex technical interfaces.

Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian and GCC regulations, standards, and project delivery requirements.

Demonstrated experience implementing QA/QC procedures and technical governance frameworks.

Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting resource planning and project performance management.

Excellent client-facing, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or related field.

Chartered, Registered, or Professional Landscape Architecture accreditation.

Experience leading technical delivery for giga-projects and major urban developments in the GCC.

Advanced BIM and Digital Delivery experience, including Autodesk Construction Cloud and model coordination.

Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, environmental design, and resilient landscape strategies.

Experience managing geographically distributed design teams.

Strong mentoring and talent development capabilities.

Ability to establish discipline standards, technical procedures, and best practices across multiple projects.

Experience supporting pursuits, technical proposals, and strategic project planning.
