Job Description

Who You'll Work For

Arista is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Shannon on an 18-month contract. This is an established role with a well-defined remit: you'll own the day-to-day accounting, month-end close and statutory reporting for six of Arista's international legal entities, working closely with the corporate accounting, international tax, treasury, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.

Beyond the day-to-day, you will have scope to improve processes and controls, and you will gain hands-on exposure to US GAAP reporting, SOX controls and Irish/EMEA statutory compliance within a fast-growing, NYSE-listed global technology company.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly close for six international entities, meeting group reporting deadlines.
  • General ledger responsibility for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued expenses, bank, other assets and liabilities, along with intercompany and payroll transactions.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage the annual statutory audits for the entities, including preparation of the financial statements and directors’ reports in accordance with the local GAAP of each region.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly CSO statistical surveys.
  • Operate and improve SOX controls within your area and help maintain finance policies and procedures.
  • Manage external service providers, such as auditors and local advisors, and build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Arista.
  • Partner with the Marketing team on billing event sponsorship contributions to partners across all subsidiaries.
  • Maintain clear process documentation and support cross-training so that team coverage is resilient.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Other projects/duties as required.
