About your team

The Cyber Resilience & Trust function protects Fidelity International by reducing cyber risk, strengthening resilience and enabling trusted digital services. The Identity Trust team is responsible for establishing trust across every identity and every interaction at Fidelity. Bringing together workforce identity, customer identity and enterprise identity foundations, the team ensures identity becomes a primary force of protection that enables secure business growth, operational resilience and trusted digital experiences. It is one of Fidelity’s most critical enterprise capabilities, establishing trust across colleagues, customers, applications, systems, services and future autonomous agents.

About your role

Identity is one of the most important control points in modern cyber security. In this role, you will define and lead Fidelity's enterprise Identity Trust strategy, creating end-to-end accountability for trust across workforce, customer, machine and autonomous identities. You will position identity as a primary enterprise security control plane, using trusted identity, policy and intelligence to prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats.

You will lead the evolution of identity from a collection of technology domains into a strategic business capability that enables secure access, protects critical assets and supports Fidelity's platform operating model. Working closely with Technology, Architecture, Engineering, Cyber Defence and Business leaders, you will establish a unified trust model across identity services, drive the adoption of modern identity capabilities, and prepare Fidelity for emerging challenges including Non-Human Identity, AI agents and identity-led cyber defence. You will also support the evolution of identity visibility and intelligence across the enterprise, linking identity posture, analytics and threat signals to Cyber Defence and risk decision-making.

This role combines strategic leadership with operational accountability, ensuring identity services remain resilient, scalable and trusted while continuously evolving to meet the needs of an AI-enabled future. The role provides strategic leadership for identity as a core element of Fidelity’s cyber resilience, operational resilience and digital transformation agenda.

About you

You are an experienced technology or cyber security leader with a strong understanding of enterprise identity, digital trust and modern authentication and authorisation architectures. You are equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy and leading complex operational services, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Technology and the business.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise identity or digital trust capabilities within a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of modern identity technologies, authentication, authorisation and identity governance.

Strong understanding of identity intelligence, identity threat detection and response, non-human identity governance, and risk-based policy and enforcement.

  • The ability to define strategic direction and translate it into practical delivery.
  • Experience influencing senior technology and business stakeholders across organisational boundaries.
  • A passion for innovation and preparing organisations for emerging identity challenges, including machine identities, AI agents and autonomous systems.
  • A collaborative leadership style that develops high-performing teams and builds strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead critical operational services through complex organisational and technology transformation, including major incidents and competing investment priorities.
