Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive School Operations Assistant to join its School Operations Team.

This role is based within the Management Sciences and Marketing (MSM) Division and forms part of a dedicated divisional support team of three professional services colleagues. Together, the team supports a thriving academic community of approximately 75 academic staff, alongside postgraduate researchers and visiting academics.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver a professional, customer-focused service. We are looking for someone who brings a positive, proactive and collaborative approach to their work, enjoys supporting others, and is keen to contribute to a welcoming and supportive team environment. They will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the school and wider university, building effective relationships and providing a responsive and efficient service.

As part of the wider school operations team, the post-holder will occasionally be asked to contribute to activities that support the school's strategic priorities and operational objectives. They will work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and university, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and service excellence.
