What's the opportunity?
Become an Engineering Manager for one of our teams in Berlin. You’ll lead a team of engineers working on products and systems that create meaningful impact for our customers and our business.
This is an opportunity to lead an existing team, partner closely with product and design, and help raise the bar for high performance in how we work. You’ll bring clarity to complex problems, support your team to deliver great outcomes, and contribute to a healthy, inclusive engineering culture.
What will I be doing?
- Partnering with engineering, product and design leaders to shape team direction and strategy.
- Translating strategy into clear goals, priorities and measurable impact with the help of your team.
- Enabling your team to achieve high levels of productivity, performance, reliability and quality.
- Teaching, mentoring, coaching and acting as a role model for engineers and other engineering managers.
- Creating a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team culture focused on fast, focused, high-impact execution.
- Supporting effective planning, decision-making and communication across your team and wider engineering.
- Helping to shape and evolve our engineering culture by contributing to engineering organisation programmes.
What skills do I need?

- An ability to lead engineering teams that deliver meaningful impact.
- Experience developing and supporting a team of engineers through personal growth and career progression.
- A track record of partnering with product and design leadership to deliver great outcomes.
- Demonstrated impact in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
- The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Fin has a hybrid working policy. We believe that working in person helps us stay connected, collaborate easier and create a great culture while still providing flexibility to work from home. We expect employees to be in the office at least three days per week.
