(NUS) provides data services and security across Nutanix Cloud Platform including structured data

(files), unstructured data (objects), and block storage. The Engineering team is distributed across

the US and India.

The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for an Software Development Engineers in Test to be a part of the Files team

based of India. Files Storage provides a scale-out distributed file storage solution supporting

SMB and NFS on top of Nutanix AOS. Virtual file server controllers are deployed across nodes

within an existing cluster, or on a dedicated file storage cluster. Nodes are designed to be self-

contained and share nothing, eliminating single points of failure. Files Storage architecture

scales out easily by adding virtual resources and can be deployed across a variety of

environments including datacentres, remote and branch offices, edge locations, and clouds.

We seek individuals who possess vibrant energy, robust technical expertise, and proficient

Key

 Automating test cases and execute as part of new feature testing, and enabling

automated regression runs for subsequent releases.

 Working closely with the Development team to ensure the feature is ease-to-use,

debuggable.

 Actively participate in requirements, functional and design aspects of new features &

enhancements.

 Writing test plans and approaches that suit customer deployments and come up with

detailed test plans for the functionality would be an added advantage.

Minimum Requirements

 Good programming skills and Experience in Python.

 Good knowledge of test automation using test frameworks.

 Experience with writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise

software.

 Experience with trouble shooting and debugging in Linux or Windows environments.

 Bachelors in Computer Science or related field with 2-5 yrs of experience.

Nice to Have

 Prior Experience with NFS, SMB protocols.

 Familiar with Data Centre technologies (Storage(SAN/NAS/HCI), Networking,

Virtualisation)

 Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS .

 Familiar with Distributed system concepts, HA, Clustered environments.

Our team is working a hybrid model, being in the office 3 times weekly. We have a strong team
