Job Description – Quality Specialist
The Quality Specialist supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System at the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards, internal procedures, ISO certification requirements, and organizational requirements.
Key :
- Supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Conducting quality inspections, audits, and assessments to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Managing the customer complaint database, conducting investigations, coordinating root cause analyses, and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitoring and coordinating the non-conformance management process.
- Maintaining and overseeing Quality Management System documentation.
- Supporting compliance with ISO certification requirements and other applicable quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing support on quality-related matters.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives using appropriate quality tools and methods.
- Training employees on quality procedures, controls, and best practices.
- Promoting Ways of Working principles and contributing to a safe work environment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or higher education degree in engineering, plastics processing, quality management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Practical knowledge of quality tools and techniques, including control plans, quality systems, process control, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards, certification requirements, and legal requirements.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and results orientation.
- Very good communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Good work organization, methodical approach, flexibility, and the ability to respond to changing priorities.
- Basic project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Proficiency in English enabling professional communication.
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically or internationally.
Employment for a period of 12 months.
