Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Product Manager is responsible for defining and scaling products that generate profitable growth, adoption, competitive differentiation, and sustainable value for the company and its clients. They translate business opportunities, market needs, data, technological trends, and innovation into clear, monetizable, and scalable value propositions.

Functions

  1. Product Strategy and Innovation
  • Define the strategy and vision for products, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and differentiation based on the market, clients, data, and trends.
  • Prioritize initiatives and manage the product lifecycle, from creation to evolution or retirement.
  1. Discovery, Validation, and Solution Development
  • Lead research and discovery processes to understand client needs and business opportunities.
  • Design, test, and validate new proposals through pilots, proofs of concept, and MVPs.
  • Work with Technology, Data, and Analytics teams to ensure solutions are viable, scalable, and focused on generating value.
  1. Monetization and Go-to-Market
  • Develop business cases and define strategies for pricing, profitability, and monetization.
  • Lead the launch, positioning, and market adoption strategy for products.
  • Monitor performance indicators, revenue, adoption, and satisfaction, driving continuous improvement actions.
  1. Cross-functional Leadership and Decision Making
  • Coordinate and align teams to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.
  • Make decisions by balancing business value, customer experience, technical viability, risks, and compliance.
  • Communicate and support strategic decisions, ensuring traceability and alignment among stakeholders.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Professional education and postgraduate studies:
  • Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Desirable
  • Specialization required in Projects, Product Management, Agile Methodologies, Marketing, Innovation, or Business Growth.
  • Master's degree in Innovation Management, Big Data, Strategic Management, or related areas.
  • Courses and certifications in Growth Hacking, Business Growth Techniques, New Vertical Development, Data Analytics.
  • Required Technical Knowledge:
  • Product Management
  • Knowledge of customer risk cycle processes and product lifecycles
  • Participation in software and Analytics project development
  • Marketing
  • Pre-sales of technology-as-a-service platforms
  • Languages: Advanced conversational English is required
  • Competencies
  • Strategic product judgment: defines product bets connected to the market, client, business, and portfolio.
  • Applied innovation: identifies real growth opportunities through technology, data, AI, new business models, or market differentiation.
  • Fluency in artificial intelligence: understands how to use AI for discovery, analysis, ideation, pricing, competitive intelligence, experimentation, and decision-making.
  • Financial and pricing mindset: structures business cases, analyzes profitability, and defends monetization decisions.
  • Portfolio and business vision: connects product, value proposition, Go-to-Market, adoption, profitability, and scalability.
  • Strategic storytelling: builds executive and commercial narratives that align leadership, internal areas, commercial teams, and clients.
  • Evidence-based decision making: combines data, analytics, client feedback, market signals, AI, and expert judgment.
  • Cross-functional navigation: mobilizes stakeholders and teams without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Orientation toward adoption and results: measures success by usage, growth, profitability, satisfaction, and value generated.
  • Risk and compliance management: incorporates legal, regulatory, security, privacy, and governance criteria from early stages.
