Measure whether the products improve customer understanding We’d love to hear from you if you have: Demonstrated exceptional design craft through a background in UX or product design, with strong interaction design, visual judgment, and the ability to simplify complex workflows without sacrificing important details Build and shippped impactful products by turning ambitious ideas into working solutions using AI tools, demonstrating significant hands-on contributions, strong execution, and sustained value beyond initial prototypes Applied deep AI fluency to build sophisticated workflows that connect models, data, and tools, troubleshoot failures across prompts and integrations, and translate emerging capabilities into effective products Exercised strong product judgment by identifying unmet user needs, translating complex customer information into intuitive experiences, and making thoughtful tradeoffs across scope, quality, and speed While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: Hold an academic background in design, interaction design, or human-computer interaction Bring a track record in customer research or in building research platforms and tools that help employees explore customer evidence Align teams around product priorities, communicate a clear point of view, and drive adoption by resolving competing needs with clear tradeoffs Build evaluations based on realistic tasks to verify the accuracy, evidence quality, and usability of AI-powered products Demonstrate familiarity with Figma’s products At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
