Process Optimization Specialist

Welcome to our team

Our Animal Health department is part of the global manufacturing division and produces and packages animal health products. We are looking for a new employee for the Improvement department of Inactivated Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals. You will work together with fellow Improvement Officers, Department Managers, and Operators. The department manufactures inactivated vaccines and pharmaceutical products.

About the role

As a Process Optimization Specialist, you have knowledge and insight into the process operations of the formulation department. You are able to optimize the production process and provide support for projects. The overall goal is to further professionalize the department and take it to a higher level. You will actively contribute to this!

**Tasks and **

  • Through data analysis, you contribute to a data-driven decision-making process.
  • Using your growing knowledge of Improvement, you ensure a detailed performance analysis to identify, analyze, and resolve structural problems so that they do not recur.
  • Through project proposals, you contribute to improving the productivity of our factory.
  • Managing and reporting on improvement initiatives as a project leader or project member.
  • Facilitating kaizens and workshops.
  • Contributing to the improvement of strategic processes.
  • To achieve improvements, you build a broad network of contacts with (internal) stakeholders and external suppliers.

Your profile

  • You have a completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field of study; this may also have been recently completed.
  • Preferably experience within a complex production environment/process industry.
  • Experience with data analysis, identifying improvement opportunities, and project management.
  • Able to find pragmatic solutions based on theoretical knowledge.
  • Able to enthuse others during change and/or improvement processes.
  • Driven, stress-resistant, and able to achieve results collectively (team player).
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Experience with Office, SAP, Reliance, and various production systems is a plus.
