Job Description

Within the Pre-trade, Sales & Execution department of Global Markets IT, we are looking for a C# developer. The department's teams build pre-trade trading tools for all trading desks (both in France and on platforms).

All teams work in close collaboration with the Front Office.

Your main activities will be:

• Development and maintenance of pre-trade systems: electronic pricers, market making applications, or market connectivity / proximity tools for trading desks;
• Communication with BAs and trading;
• Choosing the architecture for an appropriate technical response;
• Interaction with various teams including production, architecture, business, and IT;
• Evolutionary and corrective maintenance.

Technical environment: C#, .NET Core, REST API, Git, Multi-Threading, SQL Server, Clean Code, DevOps (TFS, xld), Agile (Jira, Confluence).

Business environment: Pre-trade trading tools, interactions with trading and Business Analysts.

Qualifications

• Graduate or currently pursuing an engineering degree (Master's level), with dual competence in IT and market finance
• A strong interest in the business challenges of trading floors is essential
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core
• Experience in REST API design
• Good version control practices with Git
• Good proficiency in SQL Server
• Knowledge of Clean Code principles
• Ability to adapt to demanding technical and functional environments
• Rigor and attention to detail in development and testing
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with trading teams and other technical teams
• Curiosity and ability to learn quickly about specialized financial and technical topics
• English B2/C1
