Regulatory Affairs and Relations Manager (m/f)

What will your work involve?

• assessing the impact of new regulatory requirements on the banking environment, processes, and procedures,
• recording new legislation and regulations in internal records,
• informing internal and external users about new legislation and regulatory requirements,
• coordinating and aligning responses to supervisory and regulatory inquiries,
• communicating with regulators on general topics and participating in special meetings,
• coordinating regulatory reviews, their schedules, and meetings with control functions,
• collecting and preparing documentation for regulatory reviews and monitoring the progress of related activities,
• advising and guiding internal users regarding regulatory reviews,
• preparing regular reports and minutes.

What do we expect?

• a university degree in law, economics, or another relevant field,
• a few years of experience in banking, finance, or in a regulatory or audit environment,
• knowledge of banking regulation and the supervisory environment (Banka Slovenije, ECB, EBA) or a willingness to delve into it,
• active knowledge of English,
• the ability to manage multiple parallel processes with different deadlines and stakeholders,
• precision and documentation discipline,
• communication maturity and credibility in contact with supervisors and bank management.
