JOB DESCRIPTION: Chemical Production Operator

Manufacturing of active chemical ingredient batches:

• Monitors and operates manufacturing equipment in compliance with various procedures.

• Applies operating methods defined in work sheets and follows relevant instructions and procedures.

• Loads raw materials in accordance with manufacturing instructions (quantity and quality status).

• Applies GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to every operation.

• Performs first-level maintenance under certain conditions and depending on authorization.

• Reports all malfunctions and anomalies.

Common contributions:

HSE

• Respects procedures and uses appropriate PPE.

• Detects and identifies malfunctions and risks.

• Is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their workstation.

• Performs process self-checks and, under certain conditions, carries out measurement and sampling campaigns.

• Ensures the preparatory phase of the equipment.

• Secures installations if necessary in the event of imminent danger.

Quality

• Respects and applies GMP to every operation.

• Is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their workstation and sector.

• Performs process self-checks and, under certain conditions, carries out measurement and sampling campaigns.

Cross-functional relations:

• Participates in making installations available for interventions carried out by the technical department.

• Reports on their activity.

• Takes and passes on instructions in writing and orally.

• Enters raw data into manufacturing documents.

Profile sought (diploma, number of years of experience):

CAP/BEP ICTE

Bac pro PCEPC

CQP manufacturing operator

BTS chemistry authorized

AFPIC 2 (internal training by Sanofi)

Forklift license (CACES 3 and 5) would be a plus

Experience as a production operator in the chemical industry: 6 months minimum

Candidates with experience in the chemical/petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or food/cosmetic chemical industry are authorized.
