Area Overview: The Systems Engineering sub-management's purpose is to develop the applications and services requested by our clients and, likewise, to develop new solutions that we as an organization need to provide to our clients.

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for managing and implementing IT projects for the organization and providing support in production environments to meet various client requirements.

Deliverables:

  • Contribute to the proper evaluation and planning of projects, as well as the correct allocation of resources.
  • Develop reliable and secure applications.
  • Generate the fewest number of iterations in QA and deliver a quality product.
  • Maintain updated applications, with changes organized and managed through the change manager.
  • Ensure operational continuity and SLA of the organization's services.
  • Contribute to generating solutions for IT issues required by the organization.
  • Ensure continuity and support for production applications.
  • Contribute to the management and results of the area.

of the role:

  • Participate in the evaluation of timelines for projects assigned within the area, facilitating the assignment of roles and tasks to participants by Project Managers.
  • Gather and analyze requirements associated with the project, translating them into natural language, eliminating any ambiguity, and documenting them according to the standards defined in the organization.
  • Carry out application development based on the standards defined by the Sinacofi areas regarding objects, architecture, and security.
  • Permanently maintain and optimize internal and external applications based on best practices, updating documentation for each new requirement and basic testing of included improvements.
  • Provide support to production areas: supporting application production deployments, solving specific problems and/or reported incidents, requiring analysis of the problem to propose or execute the best solution.
  • Research and provide solutions for different issues that arise during development.
  • Provide support for different technical IT solutions by forming work groups and finding feasible alternatives to provide solutions.
  • Provide the necessary information to perform a complete handover of the developed IT solutions to the corrective maintenance area.
  • Assume the role of technical lead for IT solutions developed in the area or with external companies.
  • Participate in and perform activities assigned by your manager within the scope of your role.
Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Education: Systems Engineering degree or related field. Experience: 2 years of experience in the area and at least 1 year in a similar role. Required technical knowledge:

  • Analysis and design of IT solutions

  • Programming Languages: shell script, .NET (C#, Visual Basic, ASP), Java (Netbeans, Eclipse).

  • Development of WS JSON, API REST, and SOAP.

  • Flow development in Control-M

  • Operating systems: UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS

  • Relational databases: Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL

  • WebServices development on Service BUS platforms such as IBM Broker or similar

  • Development in IBM Datapower (optional)

  • ETL tools: Power Center, DataStage, or similar

  • Agile methodology with Scrum

  • Veracode tool

  • Atlassian Suite; Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence (optional) Languages: Intermediate level English (desirable) Competencies:
