Job Description

In this role, you will bring your expertise to make a significant impact on global and local forecasting processes. The successful candidate will transform complex patient access dynamics, reimbursement pathways, market events, and real-world evidence into actionable forecasts and strategic insights that support business decision-making.


  • Design and continuously refine Canada-specific forecasting models and tools to facilitate reconciliation of outputs with global model requirements.
  • Lead scenario planning for major events and launches, exploring multiple access and uptake pathways and quantifying risks and opportunities for forecasts and business performance.
  • Partner with brand leads and business insights analysts and support the forecasting process by incorporating key market & brand dynamics, pipeline & competition, business strategy, and latest performance insights into Canadian-specific models.
  • Provide insightful, story-driven outputs for brand strategy and tactical planning, launch readiness reviews, and executive decision making.
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Finance to align patient and volume forecasts with financial forecasts and reconcile differences.
  • Work closely with the Global Strategic Forecasting and Data & Analytics CoEs to advocate for the incorporation of Canadian needs in global models.
  • Share Canadian best practices and tools that could inform other regional markets and bring global expertise into Canada.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Health Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field. Master’s degree an asset.
  • 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, market analytics, or related commercial/market access analytics, with substantial Canadian exposure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to translate insights into concrete proposals.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools development (e.g., Excel/advanced modelling, BI tools, Rapid Response system, ClearSight).
  • French language proficiency is required.
  • Health economic modelling (specifically budget impact modelling) or consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting models.
  • Demonstrated experience building or enhancing forecasting frameworks or analytic tools.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,560 to $147,840.
