Job Description
The Community team is responsible for activities aimed at fostering player engagement across all community channels, including content creation as well as the analysis of player opinions and feedback. The Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of community managers working on an assigned portfolio of games. This position supports the Community team by managing the growth, development, and performance of the community managers within the relevant portfolio. Additionally, the Assistant Manager participates in cross-functional and game-specific projects and initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the Portfolio Manager in the daily management and operations of the community team for an assigned portfolio of games. Formulate recommendations to improve processes and performance, acting as a catalyst for operational excellence.
- Lead a team of community managers, including daily supervision, review of activities and results, and performance management.
- Coach the team by assessing their strengths and development needs, providing timely feedback, and developing improvement and training plans.
- Foster innovation and a solution-oriented mindset among community managers to contribute to their autonomy and development.
- Develop and maintain best practices and initiatives to support the player community, including, but not limited to: content production practices, quality standards, and team KPIs.
- Integrate management directives, new global processes, and best practices from the portfolio Social Media Manager to establish team standards and training.
- Manage team resources, workload, staffing distribution, and tools to support the portfolio's business objectives.
- Analyze annual employee feedback surveys and collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to develop action plans to address key issues and pain points.
- Establish and maintain relationships with partner teams in community, social media, player support, and customer service sectors.
- Create a pleasant and collaborative work environment, driven by a shared desire to improve the Ubisoft player experience and tell the stories of our games.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Intermediate experience in community management or a similar role.
- Experience in team management, with a proven track record of leading diverse and dispersed teams, is an asset.
- Good knowledge of social media, live streaming, and YouTube.
- Experience in the video game industry is a major asset.
