Job Title: Biotechnology Production Operator / Technician

• Contract type: Permanent contract (CDI)
• Working hours: Full-time / 3x8h shift

About the role

The Aramon site is a major industrial player in the region and the 4th largest company in the Gard department. The site is located a few kilometers from Avignon, on the banks of the Rhône, between three departments: Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône, and Vaucluse.

The Aramon site is part of the chemistry-biochemistry network and specializes in the production of active ingredients using plant extraction processes. Committed to energy performance and environmental protection, the site implements a genuine energy management policy recognized by ISO 50001 certification.

As a Biotechnology Production Operator / Technician, you will work on a 3x8 semi-continuous shift pattern, from Monday to Friday, in a team of approximately 12 people spread across about 4 to 6 production workshops.

Main missions:

• Preparation and pH adjustment of various solutions (culture media and buffers) used for either cell cultures or to control purification steps.
• Autonomous operation of automated systems and process steps, both in Up-Stream and Down-Stream.
• Up-Stream: Operation of microorganism cultures in Batch and Feed-Batch.
• Down-Stream: Operation of chromatography and ultrafiltration skids.
• Operation of various "utility" fluid productions (water, steam).
• Participation in maintaining production areas through order, organization, and cleanliness.

Production technicians also support maintenance technicians and perform certain first-level maintenance tasks themselves.

About you

Education and experience:

• Bac Pro IC, BTS in Process Control, BTS or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, or equivalent experience.

Skills and competencies:

• Knowledge of working in a ZAC (controlled atmosphere zone) (a plus).
• Attention to detail, rigor: respect safety, manufacturing, and GMP rules.
• Dynamism and team spirit.
• Versatility.

Languages: An understanding of technical English will be appreciated.
