Job Description

The Position

The Senior Technical Product Analyst is a key member of the Product Team within the Commercial Trade Channels & Strategies (CTCS) Product Line. Working under the guidance of the Product Manager, this role is responsible for driving product discovery, requirements management, solution design, delivery support, adoption, and continuous improvement activities for a strategic digital product.

The role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, users, Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, User Experience, Quality Assurance, and implementation teams to ensure products deliver measurable business value and exceptional user experiences.

As a Senior Specialist, the Senior Technical Product Analyst independently leads complex analysis initiatives, drives stakeholder alignment, influences product decisions through data and insights, and contributes significantly to successful roadmap execution.

This role is expected to leverage modern AI tools, copilots, and agentic workflows as a standard component of daily work to improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of product discovery, analysis, decision-making, and delivery.

What will you do?

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, stakeholders, and users to identify business opportunities, customer needs, operational challenges, and product improvement opportunities.
  • Lead discovery activities for strategic initiatives, new capabilities, and product enhancements.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable product capabilities and actionable delivery plans.
  • Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and optimize processes.
  • Support roadmap planning and prioritization through impact assessments, value analysis, and recommendation development.
  • Define measurable business outcomes and success metrics for product initiatives.
  • Lead requirements gathering and analysis for complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Define epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, and data requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, and UX specialists to shape solution approaches.
  • Ensure requirements remain aligned with product strategy and business objectives throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive clarity and alignment on scope, assumptions, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
  • Serve as an integral member of the Product Team throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Support delivery of product initiatives from concept through deployment and adoption.
  • Refine and maintain product backlog items in partnership with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
  • Coordinate activities across product, engineering, implementation, support, and business teams.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and potential delivery challenges early and drive resolution.
  • Support release planning, validation activities, user acceptance testing, and business readiness efforts.
  • Define and monitor key product performance indicators and success metrics.
  • Analyze user behavior, product adoption, operational performance, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve product outcomes and customer experiences.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting, and continuous performance evaluation.
  • Assess product value realization and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Leverage Generative AI, Copilots, and agentic tools as a standard component of daily Product Analysis activities.
  • Utilize AI-assisted techniques to accelerate discovery, requirements engineering, stakeholder research, backlog refinement, business analysis, documentation, and decision support.
  • Build and maintain reusable AI workflows, prompts, agents, and knowledge repositories that improve Product Team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and business relevance.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can enhance product capabilities, user experiences, operational efficiency, and team productivity.
  • Promote responsible, secure, and effective use of AI technologies across the Product Team.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • University degree.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Digital Product Delivery, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale digital products and platforms.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups and delivery teams.
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments.
  • Experience operating in global and matrixed organizations.
  • Experience influencing decisions and driving outcomes without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing Generative AI tools in day-to-day professional work.
  • Experience using AI copilots and agentic platforms to support business analysis, requirements engineering, research, documentation, and product delivery activities.
  • Proven ability to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making through AI-assisted workflows.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, context management, AI output evaluation, knowledge retrieval techniques, and responsible AI practices.
  • Ability to design and maintain reusable AI-enabled workflows that improve team effectiveness.
  • Strong curiosity toward emerging AI technologies and a commitment to continuously evolving ways of working.
