Job detail for Student Technical Support Assistant

This is a Dublin Campus position.

• Receive and respond to calls and emails regarding technology and classroom needs
• Provide classroom technology/equipment support (projectors, PCs, smart boards)
• Provide high quality customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests of Ohio University.
• Provide basic troubleshooting, diagnose problems, implement corrective action, or escalate to other technical resources as appropriate.
• Assist students, faculty, staff, students, and customers with connecting to and using resources (Wi-Fi, classroom equipment, etc.)
• Clean and maintain equipment as necessary
• Set-up and tear down of all event spaces including conference rooms, classrooms, and programming spaces.
• This role also provides general office support including but not limited to: answering the telephone and greeting visitors; filing; printing/copying; and providing front desk coverage.
