Overview
You will join the Network Architecture team at Intesa Sanpaolo, contributing to the definition, governance, and evolution of enterprise network architectures, with a focus on Data Center, LAN, WAN, cloud connectivity, hybrid environments, and multi-cloud. You will handle complex project initiatives, supporting standardization, automation, service quality, and transformation toward multi-cloud models.
What your activities will be
- Define and review end-to-end network architectures for Data Center, LAN, WAN, cloud connectivity, hybrid environments, and multi-cloud
- Define architectural standards, technological guidelines, and reference patterns for the evolution of networking infrastructures
- Prepare High Level Design, Low Level Design, blueprints, reference architectures, technical standards, and architectural documentation
- Design solutions for routing, switching, load balancing, enterprise DNS, network segmentation, and integration with cloud platforms
- Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives, Data Center evolution, cloud adoption, and networking modernization
- Collaborate with project teams, technical departments, top management, suppliers, and technology partners
- Contribute to cost optimization with FinOps approaches, capacity planning, and observability
- Evaluate emerging technologies and market solutions, analyzing benefits, feasibility, and sustainability
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- At least 5 years of experience in the role
- Design of Data Center, Campus, WAN, LAN, cloud connectivity, and enterprise service architectures
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, SDN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, NAT, VPN, DNS, and IPAM
- Knowledge of load balancing, cloud networking, automation, and Network Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST API, Git, YAML, and JSON
- Knowledge of network assurance, inventory, observability, capacity planning, and configuration management
- Knowledge of written and spoken English, minimum level B2
- Master's degree in Communications Engineering or equivalent experience
- Having completed study and/or work paths in an international environment is a preferential qualification
Certifications in Data Center Networking, Cloud Networking, or Network Security are considered preferential elements.
