We’re looking for a Strategic Initiatives Manager to join Procore’s Strategy & Corporate Development team. In this role, you’ll drive high-impact projects that shape our long-term growth, competitive positioning, and investment priorities. Your primary goal is to evaluate market opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations that guide executive decisions.

This position reports into the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development and will be based in our Austin, TX or remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic projects that shape Procore’s long-term growth, competitive position, and investment priorities.

  • Assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities across construction technology and AI.

  • Build business cases and financial models to evaluate new markets, products, partnerships, and business models.

  • Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for executive decisions.

  • Partner with Product, GTM, Finance, and other functions to develop strategies and turn them into actionable plans.

  • Support annual strategic planning and long-range planning, connecting company priorities to resource allocation and measurable outcomes.

  • Partner with Pricing & Packaging, Product, GTM, and Finance to evaluate pricing and monetization opportunities, assess customer and revenue impacts, and recommend strategies that support profitable growth.

  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities with Corporate Development, including strategic fit, growth potential, and value creation.

  • Develop executive and board materials that communicate strategic choices, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and track progress on priority initiatives, surfacing risks and recommending adjustments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or tech strategy.

  • Proven track record of building complex financial models, market opportunity assessments, and business cases for senior leadership.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, monetization models, and strategic planning processes.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills with a transparent, open communication style.

  • High level of ownership and initiative, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive consensus, and execute with minimal guidance.

  • Optimistic, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for driving innovation and solving complex challenges in the construction technology space.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored for executive audiences.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

160,000.00 - 220,000.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
