Job Description

Do you want to not only support processes but actively shape them? In this permanent full-time role, you will take over the leadership of the operational production for the Compounding Line 1, 2, 5 area at our **** site. You are responsible for ensuring that your area meets current EHS, quality, and compliance requirements while simultaneously fulfilling plans (on time/in full/high quality). Furthermore, you will implement strategic objectives through active sponsorship and daily on-site leadership, and you will actively contribute to the strategic further development of the area.

Your Tasks

• You will lead the employees in your area both professionally and disciplinarily and promote their development through regular feedback sessions, coaching, and individual development plans.
• You will embody an open culture of feedback, learning, and improvement and strengthen cross-functional collaboration in the spirit of our One Team Approach.
• Through your presence on the shop floor, you will ensure an efficient and smooth production process as well as the achievement of performance indicators regarding quality, delivery capability, and productivity.
• You will support Operational Coaches and production employees with technical questions and make decisions regarding deviations or challenges in the manufacturing process, taking into account GMP and manufacturing specifications.
• You will ensure compliance with all relevant GMP, quality, compliance, safety, and environmental requirements.
• You will drive the further development of processes, standards, and working methods and promote a sustainable continuous improvement culture.
• You will represent your area during audits, inspections, and global visits and confidently present results and improvement measures.
• You will participate in budget planning, resource management, and the strategic further development of your area of responsibility.
• You will support the processing and tracking of deviations, changes, observations, and CAPAs.
• You will assume the function of Head of Manufacturing according to AMWHV and be responsible for the review and approval of relevant GMP documentation.

What You Bring

• A completed degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, or engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in pharmaceutical production as well as sound knowledge of relevant GMP requirements.
• Several years of experience in leading and developing teams in a production environment.
• Fulfillment of the legal requirements for the function of Head of Manufacturing according to AMWHV.
• A strong understanding of quality, compliance, occupational safety, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in dealing with deviations, change control processes, and quality-relevant systems.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills as well as the ability to successfully bring different stakeholders together.
• A structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working with a strong shop floor orientation.
• Confident use of digital tools and ERP systems as well as very good German and English skills.
