Senior QA Automation Engineer (B2B Contract)

B2B contract until 31 December 2026 | Full time | Remote, Romania | Start date: Monday 5th October

hedgehog lab is a digital product consultancy and certified B Corp with 20 years of experience. We need a senior QA engineer to support our growing number of client projects.

What you'll do

• Own testing across several client projects at once

• Build and improve automated test frameworks, using Playwright where possible

• Test APIs, integrations and data

• Work with developers and clients to plan testing and flag risks early

What we're looking for

• At least 4 years in manual and automated testing

• Strong skills in TypeScript, Java, C# or Python

• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks

• Confidence with API testing and data validation

• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, and CI/CD

• Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Playwright with TypeScript

• AWS or Azure

• Using GenAI tools in your QA work

Start date

This role starts on Monday 5th October, so we can only consider people who can start on that date.
