Overview
As a Credit Analyst, you will assess clients’ , evaluate lending opportunities, and prepare credit proposals for decision-making. You will monitor credit exposures and portfolio performance, support the structuring of financing transactions, review credit documentation, and identify appropriate risk mitigation measures. Working closely with business and risk stakeholders, you will contribute to reporting activities, ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations, and support the continuous improvement of credit processes and procedures.
What you'll be doing
Key will be:
- Prepare credit applications, reviews and proposals for submission to the appropriate credit authority
- Assess , internal ratings, credit limits and appropriate levels of credit exposure
- Perform thorough assessment of new business opportunities, renew of existing exposures, annual reviews, waivers requests, amendments and other credit-related requests
- Support the structuring of credit transactions, including financing structure, covenants, guarantees and other risk mitigation mechanisms
- Monitor the assigned credit portfolio, proactively identifying potential risk situations and recommending appropriate actions
- Review contractual documentation from a credit perspective, including financing agreements, covenants, waivers and amendments
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Parent Company Credit Department Officers and other relevant stakeholders throughout the credit process
- Help the Head of Credit preparing regulatory report and internal report to ensure a timely and accurate reporting activities
- Help the Head of Credit set up and update credit procedures, policies and any other internal document related to Credit matters and perform any other credit-related activities as assigned.
Who we are looking for
If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration with focus in Finance
- 3-5 years of of experience in credit analysis of large Brazilian or International banks focused on the Corporate Banking segment
- Knowledge of financial and credit analysis techniques
- Financial projections and markets
- Knowledge of acquisition financing
- Knowledge of cross-border financing structures and of restructuring financing transactions
- • Knowledge of Brazilian credit products and of the Brazilian banking regulatory environment and products
- Knowledge of the local credit market and of Corporate lending structure
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Written and verbal communication capabilities in Portuguese and English.
