Overview

You will join the Group Supervisory Strategic Steering department, which manages the Group's relationships with the ECB and SRB. You will handle requests for meetings, data, and information from the Authorities, ensuring the engagement of Functional Owners and guaranteeing consistency and uniformity in interactions. You will oversee on-site inspections by the Authorities, ensuring the preparation of responses to requests and findings, as well as monitoring remediation plans. You will analyze European and international supervisory trends, collaborating on impact analyses regarding key topics of interest.

What your activities will be

  • Manage requests for meetings, data, information, and documentation from the ECB and SRB, ensuring the engagement of Functional Owners for specific areas of focus
  • Coordinate the execution of cross-functional supervisory quantitative and qualitative exercises (SREP, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Stress Test)
  • Coordinate on-site inspections by the supervisor, managing requests for meetings, data, and information while ensuring the engagement of Functional Owners
  • Ensure the preparation of responses to findings (i.e., Action Plan) and the timely monitoring of the resulting remediation plans
  • Identify emerging supervisory trends, including those in other jurisdictions, to anticipate topics that could become relevant for the Group in the future, fostering internal awareness
  • Coordinate response activities to Supervisory Authority consultations and impact analyses on the most relevant supervisory topics for the Group

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

  • Knowledge of financial market mechanisms and European institutions
  • Excellent knowledge of English, minimum level B2
  • Preferred skills: experience in a Supervisory Authority, trade association, think tank, or financial institution in the areas of risk, controls, and relations with Authorities
  • Degree in Economics, Law, or Political Science
  • Required experience: approximately 3 years

Applications from those who have gained significant professional or academic experience in international contexts will be considered a plus.
