Use AI to assess how you fit

Intro

You are a passionate frontend developer (m/f/d) with a keen eye for cohesive design, thoughtful interactions, and strong user experience? You want to implement complex user interfaces not just technically cleanly, but also intuitively and aesthetically? And you enjoy working in a modern Laravel environment? Then you're exactly right at Händlerbund!

With us, you work in an agile team on digital products based on Laravel, Livewire, Flux UI, and Alpine.js. You take responsibility for technical quality in the frontend, structure complex requirements into implementable solutions, and ensure that applications remain not only functional, but also consistent, performant, and maintainable in the long term.

Your Tasks

  • Design modern frontends: You conceive and develop performant, responsive user interfaces with Livewire, Flux UI, and Alpine.js. With a clear eye for user experience, structure, and reusability.
  • Implement complex UI requirements: You translate business requirements into well-thought-out frontend architectures and develop interactive features that are scalable and maintainable long-term.
  • Create structure and clarity: You structure complex requirements into understandable technical concepts and ensure clean, consistent component architecture.
  • Define interfaces cleanly: You develop robust integrations between frontend, backend, and business logic and ensure clear and stable data flows.
  • Ensure code quality: You work with high quality standards: code reviews, testing, refactoring, and clean documentation are second nature to you.
  • Keep performance in focus: You analyze existing frontend solutions and optimize them for performance, stability, and maintainability.
  • Shape technology: You actively contribute to architecture and technology decisions and continuously develop our frontend.
  • Set impulses: You evaluate new technologies and patterns and introduce them when they provide real added value for product, team, and codebase.

Your Profile

Technical

  • Experienced in Laravel frontend: You have several years of experience in frontend development in the Laravel environment, ideally with Livewire, and navigate confidently in more complex application structures.
  • Solid HTML & CSS expertise: Very good knowledge of HTML as well as CSS / SCSS are part of your toolkit. Responsive and cross-browser development are second nature to you.
  • Confident with modern UI frameworks: You have practical experience with contemporary UI frameworks, particularly with Tailwind CSS, and know how to implement design systems cleanly and consistently.
  • Backend understanding included: You bring good PHP knowledge and have experience with Laravel or alternatively Symfony. Enough to understand backend structures and contribute meaningfully.
  • Version control & delivery processes: Git is your daily tool. You also have a good understanding of CI/CD processes and their importance for quality and stability.
  • Quality-conscious work: You have basic experience with testing and quality assurance, e.g., with PHPUnit, Pest, Cypress, or Playwright, and understand the value of automated tests.
  • Technical thinking: You don't just implement requirements, but question them, structure them technically sensibly, and develop sustainable solution approaches.

Nice to Have, but Not Required

  • Experience with end-to-end testing
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Experience in cloud environments
  • Practice in integrating and using third-party services such as Auth0 or HubSpot
  • First exposure to AI-based features, automations, or product-related AI use cases

What Distinguishes You as Senior

  • You take responsibility for technical solutions in their entirety, from analysis through architecture to sustainable implementation. You independently structure complex or unclear requirements and develop from them sound, understandable solution approaches.
  • You identify risks, unnecessary complexity, and potential maintenance issues early and address them proactively. You make well-founded technical decisions with an eye toward quality, maintainability, user experience, and long-term development.
  • You work independently and reliably, but consciously seek alignment with the team. In reviews and technical discussions, you bring structure, clarity, and standards, and thus contribute significantly to consistent and stable frontend architecture.

Personal

  • Systemic thinking: You understand connections, think in data flows, not just features.
  • Solution orientation: You analyze complex challenges systematically and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Ownership & structure: You work independently, prioritize meaningfully, and keep your commitments.
  • Curiosity & development: You're interested in new technologies and actively bring in impulses.

If your values align with our company values, a long-term and trusting relationship emerges.
