About the position

We are looking for a Partnerships Specialist for the Cabify Peru B2C Growth team. This position exists to ensure our ecosystem of partners translates into trips: partnerships are measured by trips attributable to a partner and by the value generated, not by closed agreements or executed subsidy budgets.

the role focuses on four priorities, in this order: the loyalty program, partnerships with financial institutions and payment methods, new acquisition models, and partnership support for strategic projects from other teams. The first three are full ownership. The fourth is support, and that distinction is part of the job.

How will you help us achieve our mission?

  • Lead the loyalty program as the main lever for recurrence. Value proposition by tier, program economics, the portfolio of partners that provides content, and the communication and awareness plan together with Marketing and CRM. It is measured by trips and retention of program users.
  • Build and negotiate partnerships with financial institutions and payment methods that drive frequency within the current base, with the benefit mostly funded by the partner. Manage the entire process: proposal, counter-proposal, cost scenarios, closing, and renewal. It is measured by incremental trips and cost per incremental trip.
  • Open new acquisition models, converting audiences that currently know us through different channels. It is measured by new activated users and their conversion to recurring use.
  • Contribute the partnership angle to strategic projects. Identify the right partner, build the proposal, and negotiate it, without being the owner of the project or its result. It is a support role and is exercised as such.
  • Put a number on every partnership before and after signing it. Model cost and expected return with redemption scenarios, defend it to the partner with our own data, and measure afterward if the benefit drove trips or just subsidized those that would have happened anyway.
  • Manage the partnerships budget and maintain the monthly operation of each relationship: reconciliations with the partner, invoicing, terms and conditions with Legal, periodic reports, and incident resolution.
  • Maintain solid relationships with internal stakeholders and with regional and global Partnerships teams, escalating negotiations when the partner's resistance comes from their own structure.

What we are looking for

  • Affinity with our principles (cabify.com/es/sobre-nosotros).
  • Education in Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • More than 3 years in end-to-end negotiation and management of commercial partnerships, with evidence of agreements closed and not just managed.
  • Ability to isolate and defend the value generated by a partnership. Build the business case—assumptions, scenarios, sensitivity—defend it against a partner who arrives with their own numbers, and measure the real result afterward. It requires working with data firsthand.
  • Prioritization criteria. There are four fronts and only one person: the most frequent decision in the position is where not to put effort this week, and to defend that decision against internal requests.
  • Commercial judgment to distinguish a partner that brings trips from one that only provides budget, and to say no when the agreement does not pay off.
  • Ability to contribute to someone else's agenda. Part of the role is supporting projects from other teams: adding value without taking credit or fighting for control.
  • Working English. Part of the communication with global teams and the technical areas of partners happens in English.
  • Desirable: experience in loyalty, payment methods, banking, or benefits programs, and having worked with product teams on integrations that reduce redemption friction.
