CERN is a particle physics research center that hosts scientists from all over the world. The CERN Scientific Information Service offers a dynamic, international, and stimulating work environment.
For the 2027 academic year, we are looking for a motivated apprentice to learn the profession of Information and Documentation Agent in a scientific and multilingual environment.
Required Qualifications
- Have completed compulsory schooling
- Have an academic level corresponding to the 11th grade in Geneva or the 3rd year (3ème) in France
- Good command of written and spoken French
- Knowledge of English and German
Selection Procedure:
The selection process consists of 3 stages:
- Interview
- Tests: French, English, German, logic
- Practical internship: 2 days

Employment Conditions:
We offer a 3-year AID apprenticeship, during which the apprentice splits their time between school (CEC Nicolas Bouvier, Geneva) and CERN.
Salary: 770 CHF for the first year with an increase each year for the following two years.
