Job Description

Pagveloz is looking for a Payments Manager to lead the strategy, operation, and expansion of the company's portfolio of payment solutions (cards, PIX, bank slips, digital wallets, and other means). The professional will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and regulatory compliance of operations, as well as conducting negotiations with acquirers, card brands, and financial partners.

Define and execute the payment methods strategy aligned with business objectives; manage relationships with acquirers, sub-acquirers, card brands, banks, and other payment partners; monitor performance indicators (approval rate, chargeback, cost per transaction, reconciliation); lead initiatives to reduce costs and improve conversion in checkout flows; ensure adherence to regulatory standards (Central Bank, PCI-DSS, LGPD) and anti-fraud measures; coordinate internal squads (product, technology, risk, and finance) on new payment method projects; manage the department's budget and supplier contracts; keep up with market trends and innovations in the payments sector.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;
• Experience in payment methods, acquiring, fintechs, or financial institutions; experience with contract negotiation with acquirers/card brands;
• Knowledge of Central Bank regulations regarding payments and payment arrangements;
• Experience in managing teams and projects; mastery of financial and operational indicators in the sector (MDR, TEF, reconciliation, chargeback);
• Intermediate/advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PIX, open finance, or digital wallets;
• Experience in high-transaction-scale environments;
• Certifications in project management or financial products.
