Job Description

As part of strategic projects within a major player in the banking sector, we are looking for a Product Owner capable of working at the interface between business teams and IT teams.

Midway between a Product Owner and a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, formalizing them, and managing the functional evolution of products to maximize the value delivered to the business.

• Gather, analyze, and challenge business needs from various stakeholders.
• Translate needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Participate in defining the roadmap and priorities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Facilitate functional workshops and communication between business and IT teams.
• Support development teams during the design and implementation phases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily, review, retrospective).
• Validate completed developments and coordinate functional testing (UAT).
• Track bugs and ensure their proper resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and user journeys.
• Provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a hybrid PO/BA role.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
• Strong command of backlog management and writing user stories.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and formalize business needs.
• Good understanding of information systems and inter-application exchanges.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and testing.
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalents.
• Good understanding of business challenges and ability to communicate with technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and synthesis skills.
• Autonomy, organizational skills, and results-oriented mindset.
• Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
