Account Development Representative – General Medicine (Montreal West)

What You Will Do

Together, let's change the world.

In this key role, you will be responsible for promoting biosimilars and EVENITY to specialists, strategic accounts, and allied health professionals in the Montreal West territory (McGill, Gatineau, and the Laurentians).

Key
  • Develop business in the territory by meeting with specialist physicians, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, pharmacists) to promote clinical use of applicable Amgen products.
  • Achieve monthly sales objectives and maximize market share against competing products.
  • Develop and implement territory business plans, design innovative initiatives, and build competitive advantage for Amgen with strategic accounts.
  • Meet customer needs by providing high-quality service through solid knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, good understanding of patient management, resolving or directing reimbursement-related questions, and supporting distribution activities.
  • Work closely with internal partners, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), Marketing, Patient Access Navigators, and the Strategic Accounts team.
  • Deploy marketing strategies and effectively communicate approved promotional messages.
  • Coordinate logistics for Amgen-sponsored scientific activities, including national and regional speaker tours, in-facility training, and continuing education activities for healthcare professionals.
  • Perform required administrative tasks, including territory analysis and visit documentation in Amgen systems.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategies and their effectiveness in the field.
  • Comply with Amgen policies regarding the reporting of adverse events and product complaints.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Reside in the sales territory (Montreal West).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English, as the role involves regular interactions with colleagues and partners outside Quebec.

Assets

  • Sales experience in the inflammation field.
  • Sales experience with specialists and in primary care.
  • Good knowledge of customers in the territory.
  • Strong sales skills and demonstrated track record of results.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary Range
