Our Animal Health location in Boxmeer is one of the largest and most innovative production sites within our global network. Here, we work daily on the development and production of vaccines and veterinary medicines that contribute to the health and well-being of animals worldwide.
Within our Filling organization, your team plays a crucial role in the aseptic filling of vaccines and pharmaceutical products. In doing so, you contribute directly to making safe and high-quality products available to customers all over the world.

About the role
As Operational Manager Filling, you are responsible for the performance, development, and future-readiness of the Filling department.
You will lead a team of approximately ten direct reports, including the frontline supervisors within Filling. You will create the conditions for a safe, efficient, and pleasant work environment and manage a balanced focus on People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Additionally, you will strengthen leadership within the organization, stimulate structural improvement, and prepare Filling for future developments in technology, capacity, and regulations.
You will translate strategic objectives into clear priorities, foster a culture of ownership and collaboration, and ensure your organization is ready for future developments in technology, capacity, and regulations.

- Coaching, developing, and supporting supervisors and teams
- Managing performance, engagement, and sustainable employability of employees
- Translating organizational objectives into concrete actions and results
- Responsible for performance in the areas of People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Creating a culture where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are central
- Initiating and realizing improvements in processes, work methods, and collaboration
- Managing operational readiness for new processes, investments, and changes
- Collaborating with various disciplines to achieve shared goals
- Analyzing performance and risks and translating insights into targeted improvement actions
- Representing Filling within relevant operational and strategic meetings
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, process technology, pharmaceutical sciences, manufacturing, operations management, or a similar field
- Extensive experience in leading and developing supervisors in a production environment
- Proven success in building engaged, independently operating, and high-performing teams
- Experience in a regulated sector, preferably pharma, biotech, food, or chemical
- Coaching and connecting leadership style, with a clear focus on ownership and results
- Knowledge of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and change management
- Strong analytical ability and capable of translating data and risks into targeted actions
- Strong in stakeholder management, collaboration, and creating buy-in
- Good verbal and written command of Dutch and English
