Overview

You will join the Group Technology structure of Intesa Sanpaolo, where you will contribute to the development and evolution of Java applications supporting Core Banking platforms. You will be responsible for the design, development, and evolutionary maintenance of software solutions, collaborating with teams to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with the Bank's technological and architectural standards.

What your activities will be

• Develop software components for applications supporting Core Banking processes
• Collaborate on the technical analysis of functional requirements and the definition of application solutions
• Design and develop software components and databases in accordance with architectural guidelines
• Perform technical tests and support application testing and release activities
• Contribute to the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of software solutions, supporting problem determination activities
• Ensure alignment with corporate standards regarding security, privacy, change management, and data management
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to facilitate integration with other systems in the IT environment

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

• 1-3 years of experience in a software engineer role
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
• Knowledge of Java enterprise frameworks, such as Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• English level B1 according to the CEFR framework
• Knowledge of the main application processes in the Core Banking sector is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or STEM disciplines
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Maven, Jenkins, OpenShift is a plus
• Having completed study and/or work paths in an international environment is a plus
