PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £75,000 - £80,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Join the BBC's Talent Acquisition leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the future workforce of the world's most trusted public service media organisation.
As Talent Acquisition Technology Lead, you'll lead the strategy, optimisation and evolution of the technology that powers recruitment across the BBC. From AI-enabled innovation and automation to recruitment platforms and workforce insights, you'll shape the tools, systems and experiences that help us attract, hire and engage world-class talent now and into the future. Based at the intersection of talent, technology and transformation, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our recruitment capabilities remain modern, scalable and fit for the future.

YOUR KEY AND IMPACT
- Define and deliver the BBC's Talent Acquisition technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring it supports organisational priorities and future workforce needs.
- Partner with Media Tech and business stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions that improve recruitment effectiveness, operational efficiency and candidate experience.
- Lead the optimisation, adoption and continuous improvement of recruitment technologies, including ATS, CRM, sourcing, assessment and recruitment marketing platforms.
- Drive innovation through automation, digital transformation and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes and reduce manual effort.
- Establish governance, standards and performance measures for Talent Acquisition technologies, ensuring data quality, compliance, security and scalability.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Significant experience leading Talent Acquisition technology strategy, transformation and optimisation initiatives, with a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in recruitment effectiveness, efficiency and user experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Talent Acquisition technology landscape, including Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM platforms, sourcing tools, assessment technologies and recruitment marketing solutions, ideally within large and complex organisations.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled change, including requirements gathering, business case development, roadmap creation, vendor management, implementation, reporting and continuous improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and align priorities across Talent Acquisition, HR, Technology, Procurement and senior leadership teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience using data, insights and technology performance metrics to identify opportunities, measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience working with enterprise Talent Acquisition platforms such as SuccessFactors Recruiting, SmartRecruiters or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience partnering with HR Technology, Product or Engineering teams to deliver and optimise people technology solutions within a complex organisational environment.
