Welcome to our team

At our Animal Health location in Boxmeer, which is part of the global Animal Health network, animal health products are manufactured and packaged. The Packaging department consists of 5 teams of over 100 colleagues, where one team works in the warehouse for secondary packaging materials, two teams work in a 2-shift system (mainly automated machines), one team works in a day shift (mechanical and manual packaging activities), and a Maintenance & Reliability department is responsible for the technical maintenance of the machines.

About the role

You will work within the day shift team (07:00 to 15:30) where mechanical and manual packaging activities are performed. You will work in an environment where safety is a top priority and work is carried out according to GMP (good manufacturing practice) guidelines. This means working according to procedures and guidelines regarding safety and quality, without compromising output.

**Tasks and **

  • Performing preparatory work at the start of an order, such as setting up and adjusting machines (printers, labeling machines, and packaging machines), machine changeovers, line clearance, and various material checks prior to starting production
  • Operating machines according to instructions and procedures, including setting up and removing products, performing various in-process checks and recording them, ensuring safe and high-quality production, and order registration
  • Ensuring the machines are in good technical condition by identifying disturbances, resolving minor issues, escalating process deviations, maintaining and cleaning machines and associated workstations, and making improvement proposals
  • Guiding and training new colleagues

Your profile

  • Completed MBO3 education, preferably in a technical field
  • Preferably work experience within a production environment and experience with operating machines
  • Preferably Yellow Belt certified plus some experience with continuous improvement
