Job Description

As part of a strategic Data transformation program, our client wishes to evolve its current model, historically organized in silos, where each team prepares, transforms, and exploits data independently.

This organization currently generates several challenges: inconsistencies and duplicates in data, high processing times, multiplication of transformations, and difficulty in producing consistent and reliable reporting between Sales, Finance, and other company functions.

The ambition is to build a Data Hub federating the company's main reference data in order to:

• produce and make data reliable only once;
• expose it in a standardized and governed manner;
• facilitate the creation of fast, consistent, and scalable dashboards;
• improve operational efficiency and support the company's growth.

In this context, we are looking for a Data Expert / Functional Architect capable of providing a cross-functional vision and orchestrating this transformation.

Your missions

• Analyze the existing state and identify applications, processes, flows, and data sources.
• Define and challenge the target functional/technical architecture of the Data Hub.
• Structure and standardize reference data to ensure its quality, consistency, and reusability.
• Provide expertise on complex Data issues and propose innovative and pragmatic solutions.
• Support the convergence of practices between Sales, Finance, and Corporate teams.
• Define the principles of governance, quality, and ownership of data.
• Ensure the consistency of functional and technical choices and support teams in implementing the target.
• Act as a cross-functional point of contact for business, Data, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in service delivery and/or IS/Data transformation environments.
• Solid functional and technical expertise in complex environments.
• Confirmed expertise in Dataiku and issues related to data transformation, preparation, and exploitation.
• Experience in functional/technical architecture, Data Hub, Data Governance, or data repositories.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and propose innovative and pragmatic solutions.
• Excellent understanding of business challenges and ability to bridge the gap between Business, Data, and IT.
• Cross-functional leadership, ability to challenge, unite, and support transformation.
