Job Description
We are looking for a person to work as a Product Designer - UX Research in the Experian Consumer Services (ECS) unit, integrated into the Design Ops structure and working closely with product teams. The position will focus on generating knowledge about consumers and business problems to guide product and design decisions based on evidence.
- Plan and conduct qualitative research and, when applicable, support quantitative approaches to answer relevant product and experience questions.
- Act from the definition of the research problem to the analysis, synthesis, and communication of key learnings.
- Translate research evidence into actionable insights, opportunities, and recommendations for Product and Design.
- Contribute to discovery and problem definition, helping teams understand consumer behaviors, needs, and barriers.
- Structure and share learnings so they can be reused by different teams and products.
- Promote research best practices, ethics, methodological quality, and the appropriate use of evidence in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in UX Research, User Research, Consumer Research, or related disciplines, preferably in digital product environments.
- Mastery of qualitative research methods and knowledge of quantitative methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral analysis.
- Ability to transform business and product questions into clear research plans with appropriate methodology and actionable results.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, connecting different sources of evidence to identify patterns, needs, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and influence, with the ability to present evidence and insights clearly and engage Product, Design, Technology, and other stakeholders.
