The Opportunity

Nutanix Education is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer with a proven ability to deliver virtualization training, a strong understanding of cloud services and Kubernetes, and an enthusiasm for AI.In this role, you will join a collaborative, inquisitive, and supportive global remote team. You will engage directly with customers, deliver high-quality technical training, and contribute to the adoption and growth of leading-edge virtualization and cloud technologies.

About the Team

You will join a global team of instructors who value clear communication, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. Alongside delivering engaging training to Nutanix customers, instructors work closely with the course development team to help keep course content current, relevant, and effective. Together, the team helps customers build the knowledge and skills needed to successfully implement and use Nutanix’s leading-edge virtualization and cloud technologies.

Reporting to the Global Training Delivery Lead, you will be supported by a leadership approach that promotes empowerment, independence, initiative, and professional growth. The position is primarily remote and does not have a regular in-office requirement. However, occasional visits to a local office may be necessary for specific business needs or in-person collaboration.

Although most training is delivered virtually, approximately 20% travel is expected. You may occasionally deliver face-to-face training at customer locations, both domestically and internationally. The role also requires flexibility to deliver classes or travel outside standard business hours when needed to support customers across different locations and time zones.

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality enterprise virtualization training to technical audiences in both virtual and on-site environments.
• Collaborate with team members to review, enhance, and adapt training materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Provide ongoing feedback on course content and training effectiveness to improve the learning experience and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain current knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud services to ensure training remains relevant and impactful.
• Travel to customer locations for in-person training, with flexibility to accommodate non-standard working hours when required.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
• Adjust training approaches based on customer feedback, learner needs, and evolving industry trends.
• Meet or exceed established customer satisfaction benchmarks.

What You Will Bring

• 3-5 years of experience delivering enterprise virtualization training to technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with customers and colleagues.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and adapt your delivery to different experience levels and learning styles.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training in both virtual and on-site environments.
• A self-motivated and independent approach to work, along with the flexibility to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.
• Knowledge of Nutanix products and familiarity with networking technologies, such as Cisco, are considered an advantage.
• A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to review, test, and improve training materials.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 112,000 and USD $ 224,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
