Veterinary Services, Companion Animal
Position location: Eastern Canada
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Companion Animal Veterinary Services team member for the Eastern Canada region is responsible for providing veterinary support to our company's companion animal team, our customers, and our portfolio of animal health products, including parasiticides, vaccines, and pharmaceuticals for pets in Eastern Canada (Eastern Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador).
Key :
- Provide veterinarians and veterinary clinic team members with medical and scientific information regarding our portfolio of companion animal health products.
- Manage product performance and quality complaints and ensure they are reported in accordance with our company's Animal Health procedures.
- Interact with clients via virtual platforms and in-person meetings, with or without the participation of sales representatives, for the Eastern Canada region. Occasionally provide support to other regions of Canada to optimize support for our company's products and sales force.
- Contribute to the development, content, and delivery of scientific training programs for sales teams, in coordination with other members of the Veterinary Services team, the Veterinary Marketing Advisor, product managers, regional business managers, and the national business director.
- In collaboration with the Veterinary Marketing Advisor, participate in regular meetings to provide field veterinary insights to support marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional business managers and the sales team to increase the success of the Companion Animal business unit. This includes providing scientific information and technical training to support the technical expertise of field representatives and the development of client relationships.
- In collaboration with the Veterinary Marketing Advisor, regional business managers, and the sales team, design and implement initiatives and activities for key opinion leaders, key influencers, universities, colleges, and strategic accounts.
- In collaboration with strategic account managers, implement initiatives and activities for key accounts.
- Participate in required Animal Health meetings and conferences throughout the year.
- Represent our company to companion animal industry associations, partners, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with other members of the Veterinary Services team as well as the Veterinary Marketing Advisor, the marketing department, regional business managers, account managers, and strategic account managers to maximize the potential of our company's Animal Health portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine and a valid veterinary license in Canada required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary practice (private or industry), with a specialization in small animal medicine.
- Ability to understand, integrate, and communicate scientific concepts through discussions and presentations to both professional and non-specialized audiences.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work within teams to achieve individual and organizational results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of professional integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and related software.
- Comfort and effectiveness in in-person and virtual platform interactions.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within the assigned region, with travel also required across Canada. Travel to the United States and internationally as needed.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Fluency in French is required.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,400 - $174,400 CAD.
