Job Description
As part of its growth and the development of its Data platform, an innovative company specializing in data analysis and artificial intelligence is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen its Data team.
You will work on both operational and structural challenges: developing client integrations, continuous improvement of the Data platform, and reducing technical debt. You will join an experienced technical team and contribute directly to the reliability, performance, and scalability of data processing.
- Develop and maintain data processing and integration pipelines.
- Design and implement integration flows while respecting business and technical specifications.
- Participate in the refactoring of existing components to reduce technical debt.
- Address issues related to security, dependencies, and version upgrades.
- Develop automated processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to the team's development best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure the maintenance and evolution of the platform.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.
- Occasionally contribute to architecture studies or the evaluation of new Data technologies.
- Document the developments carried out and the flows implemented.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Data Engineer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the relevant technologies.
- Excellent command of Python, SQL, and JSON.
- Expertise in data transformation and orchestration tools: dbt and Airflow.
- Good command of Pandas for data processing and manipulation.
- Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Good understanding of data quality, security, and governance issues.
- Knowledge of development best practices: versioning, code review, testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to quickly become autonomous in a high-growth environment.
- Analytical mind, rigor, and ability to work in a team.
- Interest in Data, AI, and modern data architectures.
- Master's degree (Bac +5)
- Fluent English
