Job detail for Postdoctoral Researcher - Experimental Quantum Information Science

The Department of Physics at Syracuse University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in experimental quantum information science in Prof. Ivan Pechenezhskiy’s research group. The successful candidate will conduct research on superconducting quantum circuits through projects focusing on the physics of superconducting qubits, quasiparticle dynamics in superconducting circuits, and superconducting metamaterials. Duties include device design, experiment planning, low-temperature device , data analysis, numerical modeling, reporting and publishing research results, supporting collaborative research activities, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate researchers in the Pechenezhskiy research group and the Institute for Quantum and Information Sciences at Syracuse University.
