About the role

As a QC Analyst 2 (all genders) within the FBC Quality QC Release & Stability Biological Testing department, you will ensure the quality of analytical results through meticulous sample processing, the proper use of laboratory equipment, and complete documentation. Our department is responsible for testing novel pharmaceuticals as part of release and stability studies for local and international partners. You can expect a versatile range of tasks with a focus on cell-based test methods (bioassays) in a dedicated team. Ready to get started?

**Key **

  • Execution of analytical testing of biologics (active ingredients and finished products) according to method specifications in compliance with GMP requirements
  • Evaluation, assessment (including specification comparison), and review/double-check of results, as well as identification, reporting, and documentation of out-of-specification results, trends, and deviations
  • GMP-compliant documentation of all activities as well as data entry and review in SAP and LIMS
  • Execution of analytical transfers as well as processing of change controls, deviations, and OOX/LI processes, including laboratory and special investigations
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities, execution of calibrations and qualifications, and ensuring equipment compliance
  • Participation in CAPA measures, SOP creation, continuous improvement projects, and project activities, as well as support during inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with cGMP, HSE, and occupational safety requirements, as well as onboarding of colleagues, apprentices, and working students

About you

  • Experience:

  • Analytical skills in the field of testing pharmaceuticals and raw materials using cell-based methods (bioassay) or cell culture of human cell lines are desirable

  • Good knowledge and implementation of cGMP requirements

  • Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements in this field

  • SAP experience is desirable

  • Soft Skills / Technical Skills:

  • Ability to act responsibly and work in a team-oriented manner

  • Communication skills and willingness to engage with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and suppliers

  • Courage to provide active feedback within the organizational unit

  • Education: Technical-scientific training with a degree as a laboratory technician (biology laboratory technician, optionally also chemistry laboratory technician)

  • Languages: Good written and spoken German and English skills
